- Who we are, what brings us here, and what challenges we face in our current jobs regarding the question of helping patrons use data
- Code of conduct, questions, and workshop logistics
- Very brief overview of steps to install environments
Breakout Discussions: PID data and the academic library (12:15pm - 1:00pm)
- Overview of the sample datasets
- Discussion of challenges involving large or complicated data
- Share outs, reflections, and ideas
Setting-up the Jupyter Notebook and accessing data (1:00pm - 1:30pm)
- Launching the kernel and reading data into memory
- Brief overview of Pandas and data frame concept
- Merging files and writing them to local storage

Hands-on work: A closer look at the code (1:45pm - 2:45pm)
